Hello

Hello, my name is Dee.

What Dee Thinks (WDT) is about helping ‘Generation Next’ (ie, Millennials, Gen Y, Z and Alphas) to express their true identity through fashion and life experiences.

What Dee Thinks (WDT) is a communication resource between you and Dee, providing insights, knowledge and information about fashion and about being a better you in life.

So, ask me anything because I want to know ‘What You Think too!

What Dee Thinks...
They always say a picture paints a story however does it?… It can be photographed, a painting or even a memory. My job is to show you that not only can you dream big but live in absolute complete bliss for the rest of your life through your experiences. My passion lies in fashion, that rhymes I know, how cliché? HA HA HA Can you hear the laughter? If you can’t you’re not using your intuition properly nor your imagination.

Fashion has been my dream since the age of sixteen when DOLLY was still around and Girlfriend was their opponent, the competition was on for the major prize, to win the leadership of the young upcoming, maturing teenager. In those days sex education was big and information was soo raw and vulnerable, no one was scared, nobody cared and everyone was out to write the best of the best piece of material, which would get them the two R’s…Readership and Recognition! Now everything is soo EGO driven, the authenticity is gone and the new millennial is brainwashed by what they should look like not WHO THEY REALLY ARE!

The ideal image in our society now is to look the same, somewhat cloned to the point where your identity disappears and if, in fact, you don’t follow suit you are damned. Believe that you are enough and reach for the stars, pure authenticity is in not only the eye of the beholder but deep within your soul.

I’m here to share my knowledge, to follow my path and to help anyone out there who is struggling to find their fashion identity, I want people to confide in me, to tell me, to talk to me and to ask me to write about whatever they want to know about, and my viewpoint on it. I’m a Fashion Journalist who writes about her fashion experiences through storytelling but I want to write about what you want to know about too! Give me your confidence, your belief and trust, so that I can help write you wonderful stories and we can go on amazing adventures together…WHAT DEE THINKS!

The Mayor of Mykonos

Does fashion create a new identity? In 2014, my partner & I set off for the most amazing holiday in Greece. I had been to the island of Mykonos before but this time it would be a different experience. As we all know, Mykonos is known for it's parties, beach bars & out of this […]

When the heels don't work!

Does fashion play a part in getting a job, even when the heels don't work? Looking fabulous & sleek definitely helps to look the part when going for a job interview. Conservatively speaking, in a corporate world, it's all about the suit, skirt & shoe ensemble. In some cases, your employer even knows what you're […]

Personal persona

Ask yourself this, what are you wearing now? Why are you wearing it? and how are you perceived, while wearing it? A top bloke I spoke to a couple of days ago, gave me some great advice, fashion advice actually! Traction in fashion blogging always applies to those who are genuinely interested but when wanting […]

Talc or corn? you choose...

Are short cuts in fashion worth it? Years ago, my partner, cousin & I were invited to a close friends 30th birthday. I had been working all day, so by the time I got home from work, I was absolutely wrecked. I had minimal time to get ready, yes I know story of my life […]

Mum's Revelation

Should fashion designers be idolised? Traumatic experiences in life make you stronger. In late 1999, my mum was diagnosed with a condition called Bell's palsy. For those who aren't familiar with this illness, it's a sudden weakness in the muscles on one half of the face & damage to the facial nerve causing the face […]

Desperate fashion measures Bebehh!

Can you make fashion work for you? About seven years ago, a friend & I ( not mentioning who but Bebehh!!) set out to get ready for a night out. I had already planned my outfit in my head, as I'm always pre thinking what fashion style to portray for events. In this instance though, […]

What People Say

Angela

University Student
“My Dee Style Me Experience was really inspiring, Dee changed my whole look in a flash, some things in my wardrobe I was not sure of were either retained or removed quickly – the wardrobe is so organised. I can find my streetwear looks for the whole week which helps me be better organised.”

Deborah

Microbiologist
“Dee is so passionate about fashion and helping you find the right look. What I enjoyed was spending time to reorganise my wardrobe, especially what I needed and what was not important. Dee helped me save on my clothes budget, as the items I kept I could restyle with new items that I matched up with new items we purchased on our Shopping Experience. Dee was very organised and has now changed my outlook on life, work and just feeling good in my clothes.”

Elizabeth

Banker
“I had so much fun! Dee is so encouraging and really took the time to help me while picking out the most beautiful and stylish clothes that really compliment my figure, lifestyle and budget.”
