The cheap side to fashion

Does fashion need to be expensive?

While walking into my local 24hr Kmart, with my Koumbara ( I christened her son, that's what we Greeks call it)... I look around & realise how updated their home, fashion & beauty departments have become. I also notice that everything is so damn cheap!

Anyhow, we walk around and then I notice these pyjama pants and whoever knows me well, knows I love pyjamas. I continue looking through the merchandise & find this cute little fitted number, with a picture of Paris on it.

So, I pick up my size thinking yes this will do & team it up with an $8 pyjama top, this also being the same size. I purchase them & we exit stage left.

A couple of days pass and then I remember, I bought pyjamas didn't I? So I take them out of the plastic bag & try them on. I literally can't breathe because they are so extremely tight!

I then ask myself, What sizes are these? Do you think these were suppose to be made for an eight year old? Ok, I'm a petite size woman but c'mon this was a joke.

I take them both back to Kmart & give up on the pyjama pants, the top I give another go & end up buying a $9 beanie instead.

Fashion sometimes does need to be expensive, due to the way it's made & where it's made.

Support locally if you can, as people get paid peanuts in sweatshops to make peanut butter clothing.
